The job interview is the classic example of when the state of your nails really matters. If your career depends on your being questioned and judged by a stranger, do you really want to leave anything up to chance? When you meet someone new, the way you groom your nails is one of the early giveaways about your personality. Let's visualize a woman wearing a classic T-shirt, well-fitting jeans, and flip-flops, with her hair in a neat ponytail. She's dressed in a classic casual Saturday afternoon getup-nothing much to tell us anything about her. That is, until we consider the state of her nails.
